coatsentry08.jpg Giambattista Valli Coat €1,400/$2,575 - This is one of the most stylish coats I have ever seen.  In classic gray, it will go with everything in your closet!  The slight flare is ultra feminine and nips the waist in.  (Jump for complete list!)

Diane von Furstenberg Duncombe coat $745 at Net a Porter - Could have been boring but the fitted sleeves lend a youthful and chic vibe.

Rick Owens Wool funnel neck coat $3,780 at Net a Porter - The cut is amazing, this coat could double as dress easily-- throw on a pair of tights and you'll be ready to rock!  Love the collar and zippered funnel neck option for extreme weather.

See by Chloe Bar button coat $1,240 at Net a Porter - This is the girly princess coat we all need!  Love the details -- rounded collar, bar buttons and cute pockets.

McQ - Alexander McQueen Long Wool Coat $757 at Shopbop.  Traditional British military coat is softened by a narrow waist.  Big collars are a major statement, best for the height blessed.

KORS Michael Kors Leopard Trench $220 at Shopbop - Cheap and chic, a little leopard goes a long way so keep the rest of your outfit simple and black!

Sunner Calgary Ruffle Coat
$535 at Shopbop - I was immediately drawn to the asymmetrical ruffle down the front-- an unexpected detail for a structured and serious coat!

  • Oh Tina~~I LOVE coats (I collect them) You know where I live.
even though we do have cold winters, its nothing like back east or the northern part of the country. But is doesn't matter, I still buy them, I'm in NY a lot, so I take advantage when I'm there in the winter months to wear all my FAB coats..with all my FAB boots!!(love the winter)(packing them is NOT easy though)

I know you're an LA girl, but have you ever been to the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole Wy??? (in the winter months)it's just DIVINE!

    • Hi B,
I have a slight coat obsession, there are two closets in my house just for my coat collection! I don't get to wear them much in Dallas but when that temp drops below 60 I pull them out!

  • The Rick Owens coat is amazing. So beautifully! I love coats too!

  • I think a coat instantly makes you look chic. You can have pajamas on underneath and it wouldn't matter!
